Job Title: Full-Service Gas Station Attendant

Job Summary
The Gas Station Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the fuel station. This role includes Pumping gasoline or diesel fuel into customer vehicles and replacing gas caps securely, assisting customers, processing transactions, maintaining a clean and organized facility, and following all safety procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fueling Vehicles: Pumping gasoline or diesel fuel into customer vehicles and replacing gas caps securely.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with fuel purchases and answer questions about products and services.
  • Operate the cash register and process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
  • Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store, fuel pumps, restrooms, parking lot, and surrounding property.
  • Monitor fuel pumps and respond promptly to customer needs.
  • Perform daily opening, closing, and shift reconciliation procedures.
  • Receive and stock inventory deliveries.
  • Verify customer identification for age-restricted purchases in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
  • Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or suspicious activity to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
