Overview

Opportunity:  Mini-Bar Attendant

Provide guests with a fully-stocked and well-maintained mini-bar on a consistent basis throughout their stay, while servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with brand and/or hotel and sustainability standards. 

Essential Functions

  • Inventory all guest mini-bars on a daily basis and post the appropriate charges to the room prior to guest departure.
  • Clean the mini-bars on a regular basis.
  • Inspect all equipment and ensure excellent working condition. If repairs are needed, inform the Engineering Staff.
  • Maintain a fully stocked inventory of all mini-bar items.
  • Stock the mini-bar cart with necessary items in order to complete rounds
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program .
  • Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Position Requirements

  • Requires organization and flexibility and a problem solving approach to all duties.
  • Ability to be mobile for significant distances within building on the property.
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English.

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching; stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Ability to push/pull 60 lb motorized cart.
