Warehouse Manager
Job Summary / Objective:
This position will be responsible for coordinating and working with the Warehouse Op Coordinator 2, Warehouse Inventory Lead and/or Warehouse Manager for all required Warehouse and/or site responsibilities.ย
This position helps keep the Construction Department warehouse organized and tidy,ย
delivers and picks up tools and/or left-over materials from job sites, Helps check in supply orders, Appliance Shipments, any other GIK orders and to help verify shipments are correct.
Position checks in returned materials from sites, Combines materials for re-usage at sites.
Position helps control and advises Warehouse Manager of material wastes returned from construction sites.
Position Inspects all returned tools from sites and maintains that they are in safe and proper operational condition before returning to sites and as necessary reports any tool issues to Director of Warehouse Operations.
Position re-stocks items for future builds and projects.ย
Position is expected to deliver materials and supplies to job sites in a timely and efficient manner as to the best of their ability.ย
Duties / Responsibilities:

- Assists warehouse staff with receiving incoming items and picking up orders from vendors.
- Supports the Warehouse Inventory Lead with regular inventory checks as needed.
- ย Maintains a clean, safe, and organized warehouse at all times.
- Ensures job sites receive necessary tools, materials, and supplies for new home builds, including properly stocking all Mobile Mini PODs.
- Cleans and organizes job sites (including garages) to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assists with repairs and safety checks for tools and materials, ensuring items are stored complete, functional, and with all required parts and safety guards.
- Updates Procore during site visits with complete site photos and documentation of delivered materials and tools placed in the Mobile Mini POD.
- Inspects and safely operates Habitat vehicles using the Fleetio app and immediately notifies management of any issues with vehicles or trailers.
- Operates Habitat vehicles with trailers and follows proper safety procedures at dumping facilities throughout Pinellas, Pasco, and Hernando counties.
- Assists with volunteer supervision and training, including safety talks and proper Check-In/Check-Out procedures for volunteers assigned to the warehouse in NewOrg.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job the employee may periodically be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The position regularly works near moving machinery and large vehicles used at construction sites for a variety of reasons, The position also calls for working in outside conditions that include inclement weather, high heat and humidity and also the exposure to dust and debris.ย
This role also routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, dollies, and hand trucks.ย
Education / Experience and Attributes:
Valid Driver's License.
Clean driving record for the past 5 years immediately preceding the date of application.
Truck and trailer driving
High School Diploma or equivalent such as GED.
Minimum two years of previous related experience in Warehousing and/or Construction.
Ability to read, analyze, comprehend, and interpret general business information.
Ability to speak and write English fluently.
Build constructive and effective relationships.
Forklift Certification ++
