Beasley Forest Products is seeking a skilled and dependable Night Shift Millwright to support the maintenance and operation of our equipment and production systems in Hazlehurst, Georgia.

Position Summary

The Night Shift Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the facility. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and effectively during overnight operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system issues
  • Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment as needed
  • Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and technical specifications
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Collaborate with maintenance, production, and management teams to improve equipment performance
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas

Qualifications

  • Previous millwright or industrial maintenance experience required
  • Experience in sawmills, lumber, forestry, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems independently
