The Role
GrizzlyTrek is seeking one Journeyperson Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) to join our valued client's team in Clairmont, Alberta. This is a full-time role supporting a fast-paced oilfield services operation, with work split between the shop and field repairs as part of the fracturing crew.
You will assemble, maintain, and repair well service pumps and rotating equipment, working directly with management and field staff to keep operations running safely and reliably. On the job training and mentoring are provided, and the successful candidate may be eligible for Commuter or Northern Living Allowance programs.
What You'll Do
  • Assemble, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair well service pumps
  • Mount, align, commission, and maintain electric and hydraulic drives
  • Perform condition monitoring, vibration analysis, and laser alignment of rotating equipment
  • Interpret work orders and technical manuals in both paper and electronic formats
  • Keep organized maintenance reports and documentation
  • Work in the shop and perform field repairs as part of the fracturing crew
  • Communicate directly with management and field staff
  • Maintain company facilities in a clean, safe, and environmentally sound manner
  • Work on call as required, with additional overtime when necessary
What You Bring
  • Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright certification, or an equivalent level of skills and experience (Out of Province Red Seals accepted)
  • Highly motivated self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills with both management and field staff
  • Willingness to work on call and overtime as operational requirements demand
