We're hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join a growing fleet maintenance team serving commercial customers throughout the Richmond area. You'll be provided with a fully equipped take-home service truck (non-CDL) and spend your day performing repairs and maintenance at customer locations instead of being tied to a shop.

This is a Monday-Friday position with a local territory of roughly 50 miles, meaning you're home every night.

If you're an experienced diesel technician who can diagnose problems, work independently, and enjoys field service, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair diesel-powered trucks and commercial fleet vehicles
  • Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, air brake and mechanical systems
  • Repair engines, steering, suspension, brake and drivetrain components
  • Complete mobile service calls at customer locations
  • Communicate repairs clearly and professionally with customers
  • Maintain a clean, organized company service truck

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Fleet Technician
  • Previous mobile or field service experience is a strong asset
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Own hand tools

What You'll Get

  • $30-$40/hour, based on experience
  • Company-provided take-home service truck
  • Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Stable year-round work
  • Local service territory—minimal travel and home every night
  • Supportive leadership with decades of diesel industry experience

If you're looking for a role where you'll have the freedom to work independently, a fully equipped truck, and a leadership team that understands what it's like to be in the field, apply today.
