Job description

We are seeking a full-time, licensed Fire Sprinkler Technician based in Montverde, Orlando, FL. You will be required to do inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of fire sprinkler systems. If you are NICE Level II / ACE I and OSHA 10 certified with 2-3 years of experience as a Sprinkler Technician, this role is for you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Inspecting, testing, installing and servicing a variety of water and air-based fire suppression systems

- Servicing and repairing valves, pipelines, fire pumps and related equipment in commercial healthcare and industrial settings.

- Running advanced diagnostics and providing cost-effective repairs

- Responding to service calls, including after-hours emergencies

- Interacting with clients and co-workers and documenting service activities


JOB REQUIREMENTS

- High school diploma or equivalent

- OSHA 10 certification or higher

- NICET II or higher (water-based inspections) license required OR ACE 1

- Florida State Backflow Certification

- Holder of a Florida Fire Protection Contract I or II License

- At least 3 years of experience with installation, service, and maintenance of a variety of fire sprinkler systems

- Knowledgeable of NFPA and local fire codes

- Proficiency in blueprint reading

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Able to pass pre-employment background checks (i.e. Criminal, Driving, Drug)

- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving ability

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
