Custom Millwork Fabricator

About VOGO Cabinets
VOGO Cabinets is a high-end custom cabinetry manufacturer serving luxury residential and commercial projects throughout Colorado. We specialize in custom projects that require creativity, precision, and craftsmanship.
We are seeking an experienced Custom Millwork Fabricator to oversee all secondary woodworking operations and custom fabrication within our woodshop.

Position Summary
The Custom Millwork Fabricator is responsible for producing all custom wood components that are not processed through the panel saw department. This position plays a critical role in transforming raw and machined parts into finished millwork components ready for assembly.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving fabrication challenges, working with a variety of woodworking machinery, and producing high-quality custom work.

Responsibilities
Woodshop Production
 • Process all woodshop components associated with production work orders.
 • Fabricate fillers, crown molding, light rails, toe kicks, valances, and specialty trim components.
 • Build custom millwork products including decorative hood enclosures, wine storage systems, curved millwork components, floating shelves, decorative panels, and specialty cabinetry components.
 • Review drawings and determine the most efficient fabrication methods.
Machinery Operation
 • Safely operate woodworking equipment including table saws, chop saws, routers, joiners, planers, wide belt sanders, edge shaping equipment, and other woodworking machinery.
 • Perform setup and adjustments as required.
 • Maintain equipment and notify management of maintenance needs.
Quality Control
 • Inspect completed components for accuracy and quality.
 • Verify dimensions against drawings and work orders.
 • Ensure all components are properly labeled and organized.
 • Identify opportunities to improve fabrication methods and shop efficiency.
Shop Organization & Safety
 • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
 • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
 • Assist with inventory monitoring of woodshop materials and supplies.
 • Collaborate with CNC, assembly, finishing, and management teams to meet production schedules.

Qualifications
Required
 • 3+ years of woodworking, cabinet shop, millwork, or custom fabrication experience.
 • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
 • Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and fabrication techniques.
 • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
 • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred
