Description:Feedmill Operator (Minatare, Nebraska)


Midwest PMS LLC is a leading liquid supplement company for the beef cattle industry dedicated to customer service and cattle performance. Midwest PMS LLC provides a safe and rewarding culture that invests in its people.


As a Feedmill Operator at our Minatare facility, you will be trained in all aspects of the manufacturing process. You will work alongside a culturally diverse crew as you spend time working in all-production areas in the plant. Working in a Safe Feed/Safe Food certified facility, you will be involved in the Quality Control/Quality Assurance process. Duties will vary daily depending on changing business conditions. Hourly Range:

$15.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.


Requirements:

· Operate and maintain feedmill equipment, including mixers, grinders, conveyors, and pumps.

· Monitor and adjust feedmill equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.

· Follow established procedures to ensure the production of high-quality animal feed.

· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of feedmill equipment areas.

· Maintain accurate records of feedmill production and inventory.

· Ensure compliance with all safety, feed safety and environmental regulations.

· Communicate effectively with team members and management.

· Available to work evening and overtime hours as business needs require.

· Responsible for receiving and unloading products, by truck or rail, that are delivered to Plant.

· Operate mobile equipment, including skid steers, loaders, and forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications:


· Previous experience operating and maintaining feedmill equipment.

· Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in hot and cold environments.

· Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment.

· Candidates must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

· Candidates must have valid documentation to be able to work in the U.S.
