Job description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Corporate Recruiter for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs, refine role requirements, and build effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across a variety of corporate roles, from intake meeting to I-9 completion.
  • Create and manage job postings, ensuring accurate position details and strong alignment with business needs.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines by proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Review applications, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring teams through the selection process.
  • Own candidate communication throughout the hiring lifecycle, including outreach, interview coordination, offers, and dispositioning.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to share candidate profiles, gather feedback, and move candidates efficiently through the process.
  • Help facilitate internal mobility efforts, including reviewing internal candidates and partnering with transfer processes.
  • Ensure an efficient and compliant recruiting process, including documentation, status updates, and candidate tracking in the ATS.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 1-4 years of recruiting experience required.
  • Experience managing multiple open requisitions at once while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed, with a track record of engaging passive candidates.
  • Experience working within an applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintaining accurate candidate data.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively partner with hiring managers and candidates.
  • A relationship builder. You build trust quickly, influence stakeholders, and provide a strong candidate experience while balancing business needs.
  • A results driver. You are motivated by filling roles, meeting hiring goals, and maintaining momentum across multiple searches.
  • A problem solver. You navigate ambiguity, remove roadblocks, and keep the hiring process moving forward.
