Director of Engineering & Materials Testing Services.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual looking for career growth and professional development.


Required Experience

• Master Degree in Geotechnical Engineering and/or Civil Engineering is required.

• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in Oklahoma.

• Ten to Fifteen years of geotechnical engineering experience is required.

• Client relationship building, project management and business development skills.

• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

• Must be able to pass a background check and preemployment drug screen.

• U.S Citizenship or Permanent resident status is required. No visa sponsorship will be provided.

Required Skills & Duties

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and multi-tasking in developing and implementing strategies and plans that align with METCO’s vision, mission and business development.

• Highly organized and able to optimize resources to ensure the delivery of quality services to customers.

• Strong leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to oversee engineering projects and teams. Develop and manage department budgets.

• Ability to provide technical guidance and supports to the engineering team and management.

• Ability to create, maintain and communicate project budgets.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to assure compliance with engineering practices and legal regulations.

• Prior experience providing geotechnical engineering services and construction materials testing for transportation and/ or commercial projects. Expertise should include foundation/geotechnical designs, subsurface investigation, pavement design and writing geotechnical recommendation reports

. • Experience with geotechnical analysis and design software.
