What youโ€™ll do
As a Senior Project Engineer, youโ€™ll take on a leadership role in delivering complex projects while mentoring junior staff and ensuring technical quality. Youโ€™ll also:ย 
ยปย  ย  ย  Lead and coordinate project design efforts.
ยปย  ย  ย  Apply engineering principles and judgment.
ยปย  ย  ย  Review and validate calculations, plans and reports.
ยปย  ย  ย  Identify and resolve discrepancies.
ยปย  ย  ย  Proactively address project challenges.
ยปย  ย  ย  Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
ยปย  ย  ย  Collaborate with project managers to meet schedules, budgets and quality standards.
ยปย  ย  ย  Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growth.
ยปย  ย  ย  Represent the firm in client meetings and presentations.

What it takes
Ideally, youโ€™ll have a bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. If you have eight or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, or the ability to obtain reciprocity[EM1] . Ideally, you will also:ย 
ยปย  ย  ย  Speak and write well.
ยปย  ย  ย  Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
ยปย  ย  ย  Be comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with clients.
ยปย  ย  ย  Manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
ยปย  ย  ย  Be a team player who can also operate independently when needed.
