Security Clearance: 

  • Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD)SECRETpersonnel security clearance.  

Responsibilities: 

As a Mid-Level Logistician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and projects. Your work will encompass a wide range of responsibilities to ensure effective ship supportability and life cycle management in accordance with DoD acquisition policies and regulations. Your key duties will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Perform system lifecycle cost analysis and develop component studies. 

  • Protect and control proprietary materials. 

  • Analyze logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, and cost or benefit analysis. 

  • Compute reporting metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, order fulfillment rates, or inventory. 

  • Enter and maintain logistics-related data in databases. 

  • Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing and 

  • distribution, supplier management, and transportation. 

  • Maintain logistics records in accordance with Government policy. 

  • Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.  

Experience: 

  • 5 years of experience of providing logistics support to NAVSEA programs.  

  • Familiarity with Navy logistics systems such as HIS Haystack, MBPS, NDE, and MRDB.  

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, business or related field or relevant direct military experience in lieu of degree
