Emergency Management Specialist (Mid-Level)

Employment Type Full-Time, Exempt | W-2 Project-Funded Employee

Location Remote or PSCG New Braunfels, TX office. Up to 50% travel to Joint Field Offices, state EOCs, or applicant sites.

Compensation $85,000 base plus benefits. Deployed uplift applies for OCONUS assignments.

Important — Project-Funded Position: This position is tied to PSCG's subcontract under a specific Master Services Agreement task order. PSCG prioritizes retention and redeployment of proven team members to subsequent task orders as volume allows.

ABOUT PSCG

Essential Healthcare Solutions LLC is supporting Pinnacle Solutions & Consulting Group (PSCG), an SBA-Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas, in its search for motivated, solution-driven team players eager to embrace the responsibilities of working in a dynamic and professionally rewarding environment.

PSCG delivers federal disaster response, emergency management, and recovery consulting services as a subcontractor to prime contractors on FEMA, USACE, and related federal vehicles.

THE ROLE

PSCG is hiring an Emergency Management Specialist to support an active MSA task order. This is a project-funded role executing planning, coordination, and deliverable production work under the direction of PSCG's task order Program Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop Situation Reports, Incident Action Plans, and planning products using ICS and NIMS doctrine.
  • Support ESF desk coordination at Joint Field Offices, Recovery Field Offices, or state EOCs as assigned.
  • Produce damage assessment documentation, resource request tracking, and RFI responses.
  • Coordinate with prime contractor staff, federal and state emergency management officials, and local stakeholders.
  • Maintain task order deliverable pipeline and support on-time delivery.
  • Draft meeting minutes, after-action notes, and internal task order reports.
  • Support senior planning staff on multi-ESF coordination tasks.
  • Maintain DCAA-compliant daily timekeeping against assigned task order charge codes.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, homeland security, or related discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years of emergency management experience at the federal, state, or local level.
  • Direct experience on at least one declared disaster response.
  • ICS 100, 200, 300, 400; IS-700; IS-800 complete.
  • Strong writing and document production skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • Immediate availability; ability to start within fourteen (14) days of offer acceptance.

WHAT WE'D ALSO LIKE TO SEE

  • Active Public Trust or Secret clearance.
  • Prior JFO or state EOC rotation experience.
  • FEMA Public Assistance Coordinator (IS-1000 series) training.
  • Pacific region or Gulf region disaster experience.
  • Current U.S. passport and medical fitness for deployment.
