RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Miramar, FL that is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Microsoft.
Summary:
The Systems Engineer (Microsoft) will plan, design, configure, and maintain our client's enterprise Microsoft infrastructure. This includes administering and optimizing On-Premises Active Directory-specifically focusing on replication, sites, and services for enhanced performance and security-managing Azure Sync and Microsoft Entra identity management solutions utilizing SCIM, SAML, OAuth, and Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning to streamline user authentication and authorization processes, supporting Office 365 (O365), Exchange, Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams for efficient communication and collaboration, and overseeing ProofPoint email security solutions to protect against threats and ensure compliance.
This role serves as a technical subject matter expert by actively participating in configuration
consultation, vendor evaluation, and problem resolution of multiple Microsoft systems. The Systems Engineer should have a clear understanding of how to research, design, implement, and troubleshoot Microsoft information systems, cloud technologies, and technology solutions in support of business needs. Under limited supervision, the candidate will effectively manage and prioritize assigned projects and design complex multi-system solutions to meet the organization's needs. Recommendations in these areas should be made with a high level of technical competency.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of On-Premises Active Directory, Hybrid Environments, Azure Sync, Microsoft Entra, O365, Exchange, and Proofpoint
* SSO Technologies: Proficiency in Single Sign-On technologies, including SCIM, SAML, OAuth, and JIT provisioning
* Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation
* Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
* Certifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or relevant certifications are preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
