Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise IT infrastructure with a strong focus on Microsoft cloud and endpoint management technologies. This role will lead the administration and optimization of Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), Exchange Online, and core infrastructure systems, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across the organization.


The ideal candidate has deep experience managing large-scale Microsoft cloud environments across multiple domains and tenants, strong infrastructure and networking expertise, and the ability to support both strategic IT initiatives and complex operational support in a large enterprise environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 & Identity

  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), including identity lifecycle, group management, conditional access, and MFA.
  • Support multi-domain environments, including domain configuration, identity management, and cross-domain service integrations.
  • Implement and maintain identity integrations such as SSO and modern authentication.

Endpoint Management

  • Lead configuration and administration of Microsoft Intune for Windows 11 endpoint and mobile device management.
  • Manage device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployments.
  • Implement modern endpoint security strategies across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.

Messaging & Email Migrations

  • Administer Exchange Online, including mail flow management, security policies, transport rules, and mailbox administration.
  • Plan and execute email migrations from legacy platforms into Microsoft 365.
  • Lead and support tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations, including mailbox, SharePoint, Teams, and identity transitions.
  • Manage DNS and domain configurations related to messaging services.

Infrastructure & Systems

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems, including Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms.
  • Support cloud-connected infrastructure and integrations with Azure services.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning across enterprise environments.

Networking

  • Troubleshoot and support core network services, including DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall connectivity.
  • Assist with connectivity design and troubleshooting for Microsoft cloud services and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Work with network teams to maintain secure and reliable connectivity across the organization.

End-User Technology

  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex end-user technical issues.
  • Support enterprise endpoint deployments, operating system configuration, and enterprise software distribution.
  • Collaborate with service desk teams to improve support processes, automation, and user experience.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement Microsoft security best practices, including Conditional Access, device compliance policies, and identity protection.
  • Assist with security monitoring, incident response, and remediation.
  • Ensure systems align with organizational security policies and compliance requirements.

Project Leadership

  • Lead Microsoft 365 and infrastructure initiatives, including migrations, deployments, and platform improvements.
  • Develop architecture documentation, technical standards, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver projects successfully.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or enterprise IT roles.
  • Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
  • Experience managing Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID).
  • Experience administering Exchange Online environments.
  • Experience performing email migrations to Microsoft 365.
  • Experience executing Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
  • Experience managing multi-domain environments.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments with hundreds or thousands of users.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls).
  • Experience supporting enterprise end-user environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services (IaaS/PaaS).
  • Microsoft certifications such as:
