These jobs span various roles, including engineering, customer support, sales, and project management. Remote employees at Microsoft use collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and Office 365 to stay connected with colleagues. Depending on the role, remote work may be fully or partially remote. Microsoft supports flexible work arrangements to enhance productivity and work-life balance.

What does a typical day look like for someone in a Microsoft Remote position?

A typical day for someone working in a Microsoft Remote role often includes collaborating virtually with team members, attending meetings via Microsoft Teams, and managing tasks through cloud-based applications like SharePoint and OneDrive. You might be troubleshooting software issues, providing customer or technical support, or working on projects that require cross-functional coordination. Communication is typically handled through email, instant messaging, and video calls, making it important to stay organized and proactive. Remote employees also have to be adaptable to shifting priorities and occasionally participate in virtual training or upskilling sessions. The remote environment offers flexibility, but success depends on strong self-management and the ability to stay engaged with distributed colleagues.

Excellent communication, self-motivation, and time management are important soft skills for navigating remote work and collaborating with dispersed teams. These capacities are vital for maintaining productivity, providing effective support, and ensuring seamless coordination in a fully remote Microsoft-based environment.

Join Aperia Solutions, a leader in SaaS solutions for the Payments and Compliance industries. Aperia is a Texas-based fintech and managed consultancy firm that creates custom SaaS applications and other software-based solutions for the payments, banking, and processing industry. Founded in 1999, Aperia offers business intelligence, risk management, compliance, and customer intelligence platforms. With offices in Dallas, Washington DC, and Vietnam, Aperia is a fast-paced, global organization that strives to improve efficiency in compliance, risk, and customer service operations. Aperia's clients include banks, processors, payment facilitators, merchant service providers, independent sales organizations, and government entities. A career at Aperia promises a great challenge, culture, and opportunities to forge your own path.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Architect to support a major contact center modernization initiative, including the migration from Genesys to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

This is a hands-on senior role combining solution architecture, development, integration, troubleshooting, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate has experience with enterprise Dynamics 365 implementations, multiple call centers, and designing scalable customer service solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and development of Dynamics 365 Customer Service/Customer Engagement solutions.
  • Support the Genesys-to-Microsoft contact center migration, including requirements, fit-gap analysis, architecture, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Design solutions for multiple call centers, queues, agents, customer interactions, and business units.
  • Determine when to use standard Dynamics 365 capabilities versus customization or integration.
  • Experience developing Dynamics 365 plugins, custom APIs, workflows, and client-side customizations.
  • Configure Dataverse, forms, views, business rules, workflows, dashboards, and security.
  • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Develop C#/.NET plugins, custom APIs, workflows, JavaScript/TypeScript, Power Fx, and PCF controls.
  • Build Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Design integrations using REST APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and custom connectors.
  • Support data migration, mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
  • Establish Dynamics 365/Power Platform ALM, DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment practices using Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions and troubleshoot complex production issues.
  • Provide technical leadership, participate in architecture/code reviews, and mentor developers.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or enterprise CRM development experience.
  • Experience leading or contributing to full Dynamics 365 implementations.
  • Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service/Customer Engagement and Dataverse.
  • Strong development skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Power Fx.
  • Experience with plugins, custom APIs, workflows, client-side customization, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of Azure integration services, REST APIs, security, and enterprise architecture.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and Dynamics 365 ALM.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Genesys-to-Microsoft/Dynamics 365 contact center migration experience.
  • Experience architecting or supporting multiple call centers.
  • Experience with Microsoft contact center/voice solutions and telephony integrations.
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Power BI, and PCF.
  • Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure certifications.
  • Experience in financial services, payments, banking, healthcare, or other enterprise environments.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a hands-on senior engineer or architect who can bridge business requirements and technology-someone who can design the architecture, write code, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide the team toward scalable Dynamics 365 solutions.
