JOB SUMMARY
The Project Scheduler is responsible for supporting projects with schedule tracking, schedule development, and provide proactive solutions to mitigate schedule risk.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, typing, and using computers at a level normally acquired through completion of a two-year technical or business degree or related field or equivalent experience; and
  • 1-2 years' experience in a project scheduling role.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Ability to read/interpret/analyze construction schedules.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, make decisions, and contribute as needed.
  • Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide ongoing schedule tracking and labor projections for multiple projects, using standardized company workbooks (schedule comparisons, look-ahead schedules, resource loaded labor curves and other tools).
  • Development of large project and specific area micro schedules with Microsoft Project or P6.
  • Resource load project schedule with labor hours.
  • Regular updates and maintenance of project schedules, labor analysis tools and actual hours worked.
  • Work with the construction team to coordinate schedule updates for each project.
  • Development of impact and multiple scenarios schedule.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
