The Office365 Administrator III is responsible for maintenance of assigned server, systems, and ancillary applications; in addition to providing technical administration support for the organization's web-based productivity, collaboration, document management and email platform(s).
Key Responsibilities:
• Configures and maintains key components of Office 365 applications.
• Monitors system maintenance and escalates issues to Microsoft Premier.
• Monitors application health and functionality; reviews system events and messages; analyzes usage and storage trends.
• Works with business stakeholders across multiple departments to leverage Office 365 capabilities to design solutions meeting business expectations.
• Maintains proper security measures by managing governance policies and permission groups; audits and reviews content for data integrity and compliance.
Competencies Required:
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and other Office 365 applications.
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft network and PC operating systems including advanced system administration and expert knowledge of one or more Office 365 application(s), preferably SharePoint or Exchange.
• Working knowledge of IIS, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL and Windows Server.
• Working knowledge and intermediate skills in mailbox management.
• Extensive practical knowledge in trouble shooting methodologies and principles and issue resolution techniques.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
• Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail and concern for data accuracy.
• Strong organizational, process and project management skills with the ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
• Flexibility to provide application support during weekend and evening hours as needed.
• Solid understanding of cloud environments.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
• 5+ years of information technology support service required.
• 5+ years of experience administrating SharePoint and/or Exchange required.
• 5+ years of experience in a technology support role with exposure to cloud environments required.
• Experience administrating or supporting infrastructure systems is preferred.
• Experience in administrating Office 365 or cloud systems is preferred.
Formal Education & Certification:
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related field preferred.
• Industry recognized certification in Microsoft 365 applications preferred.
Work Status:
• Full-Time.
Supervisory Responsibility:
• None.
Travel:
• 0% travel expected.
Working Conditions:
• Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
