 Lead the Backbone of IT Infrastructure

CompuOne Corporation is a full-service managed IT services provider headquartered in San Diego seeking a Network Administrator to join our team. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in designing, managing, and securing advanced network environments across multiple client sites.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.)
  • Assisting in the analysis and support of IT problems, ensuring efficient resolution.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and security using industry best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalating and coordinating with vendors as needed
  • Configure and maintain VLANs, STP, LACP, QoS, and security protocols
  • Administer and maintain systems including Cisco, VMWare, Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure
  • Oversee system audits, documentation, and disaster recovery planning
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend improvements
  • Travel to client sites locally as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)

 What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2+ years of experience in network administration and IT infrastructure support
  • Proven expertise in switching, routing, and firewall management
  • Advanced knowledge of network security practices and access controls
  • Strong command of Microsoft environments, including Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Experience managing virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXi, Azure)
  • Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified
  • Experience working in a MSP (Managed Services Provider) environment is a plus
