Dynamics Developer

Reports to: IT Applications Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary

ISEC is seeking a skilled Dynamics Developer to design, extend, and support our enterprise business platforms, with hands-on responsibility across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM), Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP), and Microsoft SharePoint. This role is focused on building secure, scalable, and well-integrated solutions that support core business functions including sales, marketing, engineering, finance, and project operations.

As a member of ISEC's Applications Development team, you will work across the full solution lifecycle, analyzing business processes, configuring and customizing Dynamics platforms, developing integrations and automations, and ensuring data integrity and system reliability. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Dataverse, Business Central extensions, Power Platform automation, API-based integrations, and Azure services, and understands how to balance configuration-first approaches with targeted custom development.

This position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, data engineers, and IT leadership. You will act as a technical partner to the business, translating requirements into durable solutions, contributing to architectural decisions, and continuously improving how our CRM, ERP, and collaboration platforms work together to enable ISEC's digital transformation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and Deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solutions to Optimize Business Processes
  • Lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP/CRM projects, including upgrades, migrations, and end-user support.
  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 applications which may involve CRM, and ERP (Business Central or Supply Chain Management versions of Dynamics).
  • Build and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate flows to streamline business processes and automate workflows.
  • SharePoint administration
  • Timely delivery of project milestones, maintain clear stakeholder communication.
  • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation/optimization.
  • Documentation: business requirements, functional specifications, process flows.
  • Conduct gap analyses and recommend enhancements or new solutions.
  • Maintain data integrity through validation, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Communicate system changes and outages to the CAB prior to implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of experience in business systems or IT support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of Dataverse data modeling (tables, relationships, choices)

  • Strong knowledge of business processes and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with SharePoint workflows and IT infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to design and implement business solutions.
