Licensing and Environment Governance

  • Support administration and coordination of Dynamics 365 F&O, Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and related Microsoft licensing.
  • Partner with IT leadership, vendors, and business stakeholders to help evaluate licensing needs, usage, access requirements, and license optimization opportunities.
  • Evaluate security role assignments and access design to help ensure users have appropriate access while supporting licensing optimization and cost-effective license utilization.
  • Maintain awareness of licensing changes, entitlements, and impacts to system access or functionality.
  • Assist with environment governance activities, including access reviews, user provisioning standards, and environment-level administrative controls.

Security Administration

  • Administer and maintain security within Dynamics 365 F&O and Dynamics 365 CE, including roles, duties, privileges, teams, business units, and user access.
  • Implement, maintain, and improve security policies and procedures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Support security changes, access requests, role assignments, segregation-of-duties considerations, and periodic access reviews.
  • Partner with business and IT teams to troubleshoot security-related issues and implement approved security changes.
  • Help ensure security configurations remain aligned with operational needs, internal controls, and company policies.

Monitoring and Performance

  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular assessments to identify risks, issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement performance tuning strategies to improve system responsiveness and reliability.
  • Monitor integrations, background processes, and application health to support business continuity.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful implementation and ongoing operation of Microsoft Dynamics solutions.
  • Participate in planning and execution of system changes, environment management activities, and operational improvements.
  • Support process improvement initiatives related to system administration, security, and platform governance.

Troubleshooting and End-User Support

  • Troubleshoot application, integration, environment, and performance issues.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end users, addressing inquiries related to Microsoft Dynamics functionality, access, and system behavior.
  • Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
