**Job Description:

**We are looking for a full-time team oriented, career driven CNC Machinist. This position entails setting up machines as well as running daily production.

**What your responsibilities will be:

**

  • Set-up, run, edit, and perform off-sets of CNC Lathe / Milling machines

  • Read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer, Micro-Vu programs

  • Complete tool changes

  • Maintain production rates

  • Maintain a high level of quality

  • Collect SPC data to maintain process control

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines to insure consistent machine performance

**The skills/qualifications we are looking for:

**

  • Strong math background, preferably in machine shop math

  • Ability to read and interpret prints

  • Understanding of GD&T

  • Experience using a microscope

  • Previous experience with tight tolerances

  • Complete required quality inspections

  • Can complete documentation on time and as needed

  • Experience in set-up and troubleshooting of CNC Lathe / Milling machines

  • Understand Geometric Tolerances

  • Read and interpret prints

  • Experience with measurement equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.

  • Programming experience on CNC Lathe / Milling machines is a plus

  • Previous experience in the medical manufacturing industry is a plus

  • Ability to train
