Quality Technician II

Southampton, PA
Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
$25–$30/hour

We are seeking an experienced Quality Technician II to join a growing manufacturing team in Southampton, PA. This role is ideal for someone with strong inspection experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment who is comfortable working hands-on with precision measuring equipment, quality systems, and production support.

Responsibilities
  • Release product for shipping by ensuring all required documentation and certifications are complete and accurate

  • Perform dimensional verification for PPAP and first article inspections

  • Interpret and apply basic GD&T concepts

  • Support the production floor with manufacturing documentation and proper measuring techniques

  • Conduct inspections of manufactured and raw materials at receiving

  • Collect, evaluate, and present quality metrics and inspection data

  • Program and operate FARO and Micro-Vu measurement equipment

  • Prioritize QA lab work orders and inspection tasks

  • Audit internal processes, dimensional workmanship, and documentation

  • Develop and perform calibration procedures in accordance with ISO standards

  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions related to customer complaints and internal quality issues

  • Train and support new quality inspectors on daily responsibilities and inspection procedures

  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency while meeting production deadlines

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of quality inspection experience, preferably within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • Experience working within a continuous improvement or ISO-driven quality management system

  • Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and GD&T principles

  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documentation, drawings, and specifications

  • Experience using inspection and measurement equipment, including FARO and Micro-Vu systems preferred

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email, and internet applications

  • Quality Technician certification preferred

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with production and quality teams

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
