THE JOB:
Join our team as a Banquet Server and help create unforgettable experiences for every guest with your energy, welcoming smile, and exceptional service. You will bring events to life by anticipating guests' needs, delivering personalized hospitality, and turning special moments into lasting memories. THE STARTING RATE: $9.50 per hour, plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Guide guest in all phases of their experience at the Banquet event
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
  • Knowledgeable of service requirements for assigned function such as: pre-function side work, detailed menu selections, major ingredients, appearance, texture, quality standards, garnish and method of presentation, proper food and beverage service
  • Greet guest as they arrive and assist them with seating at tables
  • Set up, monitor, refresh and breakdown coffee break, reception and buffet tables for specified functions according to group requirements
  • Follow sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by the Banquet Management Team
  • Anticipate the guest needs and respond promptly

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred
  • 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a server in a similar, high-volume environment is preferred
  • Availability for day shift, but must be flexible to work nights, weekends and Holidays

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$9.50
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
The estimated annual tips this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is: $0 - $13,500.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
