Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counseling, crisis intervention, and support for patients dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges related to substance abuse and mental health disorders.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to enhance coping strategies and promote relational harmony.
• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to track client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each client, ensuring evidence-based interventions are applied.
• Actively engage in team meetings, contributing to the overarching treatment strategy and sharing insights that enhance patient care.
• Document clinical information accurately and timely in accordance with ethical and legal standards, using our EMR system to maintain communication and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches. Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• License: Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the field, demonstrating a strong foundation in family systems theory and practice.
• Skills: Proficient in psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention techniques, and collaborative approaches to problem-solving.
• Understanding of developmental stages and their impact on familial relationships and individual behavior.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings with a focus on substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and ability to engage clients in a virtual environment effectively.
• Additional training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy) would be an asset.
