Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional and behavioral issues, providing tailored therapeutic interventions based on individual needs.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance communication and conflict resolution skills among family members.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies, assisting clients in navigating acute psychological distress and developing proactive coping mechanisms.
• Regularly conduct initial and ongoing assessments to monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop individualized treatment plans through collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, contributing insights to enhance overall client care.
• Document all client interactions consistently, maintaining accurate and secure electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse client population that includes individuals facing substance abuse challenges and co-occurring disorders. Many of our clients may also be navigating the complexities of familial relationships, requiring sensitivity and a nuanced understanding of family dynamics. You will help clients recognize patterns, improve relational communications, and foster resilience in their personal and familial lives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with expertise in family therapy and substance abuse.
• Strong clinical skills in psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and collaborative treatment planning.
• Genuine interest in and knowledge of individual and family development across the lifespan.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing evidence-based practice models for therapy.
• Familiarity with integrated care models that emphasize collaboration across healthcare disciplines.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care.

Compensation and Benefits

Peace Marriage and Family Therapy Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
