Green Dispensary
Overview
Green Dispensary is a vertically integrated dispensary that is committed to providing the highest quality cannabis products to the Nevada market. We have cultivated a great team spirit and are excited to fill many positions as we continue to expand.
Summary:
The Inventory Lead's primary responsibilities are to oversee day to day operations at their dispensary location. Leads are responsible for keeping a track record of product on the sales floor and in back stock ensuring the sales floor is always stocked.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Stay fully aware of the movement of products from vault, back stock and sales floor
  • Notify Inventory Manager on any discrepancies found before any adjustments are finalized, then conduct receipt edits if applicable.
  • Helps organize monthly inventory counts and quarterly inventory counts, overseas the restocking
  • Make sure all product labels/metrc tags are organized and compliant
  • Helps with product destruction as needed
  • Keep logs updated by date, month and time (destruction log/supplies/cleaning log/surplus log, fridge log)
  • Keep delivery packets organized in filing cabinet from all vendors/deliveries
  • Intake product deliveries with full verification of entire delivery before fully accepting (receive through metrc and POS system)
  • Contacting vendors with any order issues and works to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Processing orders in a timely manner upon arrival of delivery, Keeping a close specified net orders (net 10, net 30 etc.)
  • Dress up the sales floor to keep products in designated areas. This process helps keeps the flow of sales at a steady pace giving easy-to-find access to the budtenders. This task also involves reorganizing the sales floor depending on the volume of products being received. Redesign & reorganize as you feel necessary.
  • Keep a clean and well-organized vault and sales floor.
  • Training new hires based off their job description
  • Promote a positive work environment that is customer-service oriented.
  • Assist Regional Inventory Manager with employee evaluations, hiring, counseling and terminating inventory department employees
  • Attend regular mandatory training classes, OSHA training, METRC training and staff meetings.
  • Assist Regional Manager with making sure all employees are up to date with Metrc training and OSHA and Dutchie training.
  • Embody the role of Inventory Manager-in-training and assume the responsibilities when the inventory manager is not present
  • Responsible for verifying/troubleshooting the work of inventory clerks.
  • Adhere to strict applicable policies, rules, regulations, and/or other standards required as a part of compliance with the Company and Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) guidelines.
  • Other duties assigned by management

Requirements:
  • Must be well versed on navigating through the company's current POS system.
  • Critical Thinking, organization Skills, and thorough planning
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees, vendors, and the public sharing information to the best of one's knowledge.
  • Monitors all inventory activities and notifies management of any discrepancies which will lead into investigating said products.
  • Ability to independently think for one's surroundings and department needs, and innovate the future of storage and protocol for the inventory department as a whole
  • Be able to complete employment verification & W-4 and I-9 forms;
  • Must have reliable transportation;
  • Must not consume cannabis products during any times that would overlap with a scheduled work shift.
  • Must have or be willing to get Cannabis retail agent card and stay up to date on Metrc and Osha training
