Reports to: MIP Packaging Lead
Pay Range: $19.29-$22.50
Sat-Sun 7am-5pm
MIP PT Packager Job Description
Position summary: The MIP Packager is responsible for weighing and measuring the completed product into required increments provided by the company and meeting the packaging goals and deadlines within the company. This position is detail oriented, repetitious, and requires sitting for long periods of time with some heavy lifting up to 30 lbs. As part of the team, the qualified individual will have a positive attitude, and desire to develop with this rapidly growing opera
  • Make packages quickly and accurately.
  • Execute as efficiently as possible the postproduction of MIP products.
  • Labeling of packages.
  • Completes tasks efficiently to meet or exceed daily quotas for packaging.
  • Maintain and communicate inventory of supplies needed for packaging and postproduction to the MIP Packaging Lead.
  • Maintain department safety and compliance.
  • Inspect packaging and products to guarantee they are free of flaws.
  • Understand the needs of the company and work with the team members to achieve goals.
  • Clean and sanitize work area, practice good safety handling techniques always.
  • Inquire and research about potential packaging innovations and equipment to automate and improve the current processes.
  • Optimize production line from final product to ready product.
  • Maintain and update packaging as needed with compliance and marketing.
  • Assisting in filling MIP orders as needed.
  • Report metrics for personal packaging rates, inventory, and losses of product.
  • METRC data entries for adjustments and final packaged items.
  • Assisting as needed in maintaining an accurate and compliant METRC inventory.
  • Assist as needed to maintain accurate MIP inventory on all used platforms.
  • Maintain and update SOPs.
  • Assist as needed in cross training of staff.
  • Take directions from MIP Packaging Lead.
  • Maintain accuracy for weighing products in correct increments.
  • Maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Maintain healthy work environment.
  • Assisting as needed in the department.
  • Responsible for quality control.
  • Report any concerns to the MIP Packaging Lead.
  • Other duties as assigned.
