Job Purpose:
The Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting Compliance (METRC) Specialist oversees the METRC software, seed to sale data entry and accuracy related to the creating and destroying of batches, plant moves, growth phase changes, and harvest data. The METRC Specialist is responsible for maintaining ....  This position reports to the Cultivation Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Log all data entries into METRC accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure the proper development of batches, tags, and labels.
  • Perform repetitive data entry tasks related to strain analysis and/or crop registration.
  • Maintain inventory of plant tags and notify the MOD when necessary.
  • Train and educate team members across departments (primarily Cultivation) on SOPs related to METRC compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to numerical detail – batch numbers, tag numbers etc.
  • Familiarity with METRC Software from start to finish (batch creation to harvest)
  • Ability to delegate tasks to team members and ensure proper execution.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially excel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (i.e., destemming, trimming, packaging, both sitting & standing) 
  • Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions (bright lights, mechanical operations that require ear protection, hazardous environments requiring respirator usage etc.) 
  • Physical requirements include standing, bending and lifting up to 30+ pounds, climbing and working above shoulder height for extended periods, reaching while standing, sliding under machinery on creepers to perform maintenance, and pushing carts and wheelbarrows.
  • Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $18.00+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
