About the Role

DACUT Cannabis is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cultivation Inventory Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy throughout the cultivation process. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate plant inventory, ensuring METRC compliance, auditing cultivation activities, and supporting cultivation leadership with inventory management from propagation through harvest.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced cultivation environment, enjoys working with data and compliance, and understands that inventory accuracy is critical to operational success. This role works closely with Cultivation Managers, Team Leads, Compliance, and Operations to ensure all plant movements, harvests, and inventory transactions are completed accurately and on time.

Essential Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory of all plants throughout the cultivation lifecycle.
  • Monitor inventory from propagation through harvest.
  • Perform routine inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy across multiple cultivation rooms.

METRC & Compliance

  • Complete daily METRC transactions including plant movements, waste, harvests, and tag management.
  • Generate and maintain plant tags.
  • Ensure all cultivation activities remain compliant with CRA regulations and company SOPs.
  • Prepare inventory documentation for internal and regulatory audits.
  • Work closely with the Compliance department to resolve discrepancies.

Harvest Coordination

  • Coordinate inventory activities before, during, and after harvest.
  • Verify harvest weights and documentation.
  • Ensure harvested product is transferred accurately to Post-Harvest.
  • Track inventory throughout all production stages.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain inventory reports and cultivation records.
  • Monitor inventory trends and identify discrepancies.
  • Assist leadership with inventory planning and forecasting.
  • Maintain organized documentation supporting all inventory transactions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Cultivation, Compliance, Processing, and Operations teams.
  • Assist with process improvements that increase inventory accuracy.
  • Support company initiatives related to compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of inventory, cultivation, warehouse, or compliance experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Cannabis cultivation experience.
  • METRC experience.
  • Inventory auditing experience.
  • Experience working in regulated manufacturing or agriculture.
  • ERP or inventory management software experience.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and climb ladders.
  • Ability to work in cultivation environments with varying temperatures and humidity.
  • Ability to wear required PPE.
