Job description

The Field Process Engineer is responsible for supporting and optimizing manufacturing or equipment processes at customer or production sites. This role combines technical expertise in process engineering with hands-on field support, ensuring process stability, performance, and customer satisfaction. The Field Process Engineer works closely with customers, field service teams, and internal engineering groups to troubleshoot issues, improve yields, and support new product or process implementation.
 
Salary Range:  $94,000 - $123,420
 
Key Responsibilities
Process Support & Optimization

 
Provide on-site and remote support for manufacturing or equipment processes
Analyze process performance and identify opportunities for yield improvement and efficiency gains
Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions
Optimize process parameters to achieve performance, quality, and throughput targets

 
Customer & Field Support

 
Serve as the primary technical contact for customers on process-related issues
Support installation, qualification, and ramp-up of equipment or processes at customer sites
Train customers and field teams on process operation and best practices
Respond to process-related escalations and ensure timely resolution

 
Data Analysis & Reporting

 
Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

Qualifications
Required:
