Color Makeup Development Apprenticeship 
Marc Jacobs Beauty – Burberry Beauty – Gucci Beauty
From September 2026 to August 2027 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

As our Color Makeup Development Assistant, your focus is assisting the Product Managers on different tasks from ideating to developing new product innovations.  

TRENDS SPOTTING & INSIGHTS 

  • Produce analysis on macro/micro trends, consumer insights, markets feedback, product mix of competitors  

  • Translate the analysis into innovation opportunities  

MARKET & BUSINESS ANALYSIS 

  • Track market shares, and competitive launches. 

  • Develop clear, impactful reports to support strategic decision-making. 

  • Analyze product mix, pricing architecture, and portfolio performance. 

INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT 

  • Support the product manager on packaging design and formula development working closely with R&D formula and packaging team  

  • Ensure coordination with agencies & suppliers (artworks, renders, etc.)  

  • Co-create concept designs in line with product benefits, trends/consumer insights, brand image & business priority. 

  • Support the product managers in their daily tasks, including operational requests coming from markets & cross-functional departments 

The team consists of 1 Senior Product Manager & 1 Junior Product Manager and you will work closely together with several departments such as R&D (Packaging, Formula, Procurement, LCM), Business Development & Operating Office Departments. You will have the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals who value both excellence and humanity.

- Have strong organizational skills, manage your time efficiently 

- Master PowerPoint & Excel 

- Like team working, collaboration, comfortable with collaborators 

- Be digital centric, be aware of last make-up trends 

- Previous experience in marketing in the beauty sector is highly appreciated 

- English is mandatory
