Location: San Antonio, TX
Summary:
3 Reasons Consulting is seeking a Financial Analyst to support division-level financial planning, funding analysis, and budget execution activities. This role will serve as a critical advisor for budget balancing, financial reporting, and funding change management, ensuring fiscal resources are aligned to operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process funding adjustments and budget change requests
  • Analyze financial trends, obligations, and projected expenditures
  • Monitor division funding balances and identify financial risks
  • Support leadership in budget forecasting and financial planning
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on resource allocation requirements
  • Track funding execution against strategic priorities
  • Support financial documentation and audit readiness activities
  • Identify process improvements in financial reporting and tracking
  • Assist with budget reconciliation activities
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to successfully pass a federal government background investigation
  • 4+ years of financial analysis or budget management experience
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Experience with budget forecasting and variance analysis
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide recommendations
Preferred Qualifications:
