SAIC has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Business Process Analyst to join a high-performance team that is spearheading our customers (VA) migration to the cloud. Tremendous growth opportunity working within cloud ecosystem and using cutting-edge technologies. Looking for an analyst who can work at scale and with autonomy, who can be a trusted advisor to our client. This is a 100% Remote role.
Job Description
  • Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements.
  • Defines and develops business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics.
  • Conducts analysis of business processes including:
    • Current state analysis
    • Gap analysis
    • Benchmarking
    • Best practices identification
    • Organizational assessment
    • Other related tasks
  • Plans and implements process improvements including:
    • Future state design
    • Change management
    • Transition planning
  • Interfaces with all project areas including:
    • Customer
    • Computer services
    • Client services
  • Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and performance quality.
  • Proven knowledge in Agile and SAFe methodologies having a strong understanding of how to apply both flexible, iterative project management (Agile) and the framework for scaling those principles across a large organization (SAFe). This includes experience with the principles and practices of both, specifically in applying them to align strategy, manage large portfolios, and improving collaboration and delivery across multiple teams to achieve business agility and deliver value faster.
  • Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Works with operating entities to provide continuous process analyses oversight to enforce requirements and meet guidelines.
  • May coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements.
  • Conducts client interviews.
  • May deliver presentations and training courses on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
  • May perform cost and benefit analysis.
  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
  • General knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.
  • Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
  • Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Master's and ten (10) years or more experience is required.
  • Degree in Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline is required.
  • Advanced certifications are preferred, such as:
    • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Six Sigma Certification
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
    • SAFe SCRUM MASTER (SSM)
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
  • Experience working in various industries or sectors is beneficial.

Requirements
  • Expertise in eliciting and documenting business requirements, business processes, and workflows.
  • Proficiency in creating functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
  • Experience with business modeling techniques and tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).
