Job Description:

Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements. Researches best business practices, internal and external, to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop, and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost. Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes. Leverages process roles and project management capabilities to deliver process organization, discovery, and improvement engagements, and enable technologies.
Provides specific functional expertise that is theoretical and conceptual in nature. This expertise is typically acquired through a combination of university education and experience within a field. May have responsibility for supervising others in the capacity of a "player coach" but primary focus is individual expertise.
Applies working knowledge of theories, practices, and/or procedures within job discipline. Broadens capabilities and understanding of the company processes, and customers. Performs mostly routine assignments and resolves common issues by using precedents or seeking guidance. Assesses straightforward problems and proposes solutions based on analysis of factual information, experience, judgment, and precedents. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Shares factual information with other team members. Receives guidance on a regular basis. Entry-level to UPS's professional career track. Typically requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of business process improvement methodologies and project coordination principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, Power BI, or similar database and business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support operational and business decisions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
