Location: San Antonio, TX (100% Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Assignment)
Schedule: 1st Shift | 4x10 Schedule (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)

Your Impact
As a Methods Process Analyst, you'll play a vital role in improving operational performance across a high-profile aerospace program. Leveraging Industrial Engineering principles, you'll analyze production systems, optimize workflows, develop operating plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and schedule performance.
Working alongside cross-functional teams, you'll help solve complex manufacturing challenges while contributing to the successful delivery of world-class aerospace products.
What You'll Do
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain operating plans and recovery plans to support production goals.
  • Build models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze operational data, production trends, capacity constraints, and business performance metrics.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to management, leadership, and key stakeholders.
  • Apply Lean and Industrial Engineering methodologies to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance schedule performance.
  • Support project planning activities by helping define project scope, timelines, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Conduct risk analyses using tools such as work breakdown structures, precedence networks, and resource allocation methodologies.
  • Support and contribute to a variety of operational and process improvement projects.
  • Utilize statistical analysis, simulations, and mathematical modeling to optimize the use of personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities.
  • Analyze value streams, workflow efficiency, throughput, logistics, capacity utilization, supplier performance, and manufacturing processes.
  • Gather operational data through direct collaboration with employees and observation of manufacturing and aircraft production activities.
  • Perform historical and trend analysis to support staffing strategies, scheduling efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively across manufacturing, engineering, planning, and leadership teams to drive operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in:
    • Project Planning
    • Scheduling
    • Project Management
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Understanding of:
    • Manufacturing Operations
    • Manufacturing Planning
    • Engineering drawings and specifications
    • Lean manufacturing concepts
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • Python
    • SAS
    • VBA
    • SQL
    • Minitab
  • Ability to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the aircraft, aerospace, or defense industry.
  • Experience using 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools such as IVT.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools, including.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting and leading time studies and presenting findings to leadership.
  • Cost Account Management experience utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to enter aircraft using stairs or ladders.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Pay Details: $46.73 per hour
