Position: Senior Process Engineer (Photolithography)
Shift: Day Shift (Mon-Fri)
Position Summary:
Photolithography engineer needed to support GaAs fab in 24x7 production operation environment. Scope of work involve sustaining and improving compound semiconductor photolithography processes for current technology as well as working with development team on the new technologies to ensure resist coat, expose, develop, metrology tool and processes are optimized. Engineer is expected to implement/improve process control by use of FDC and SPC methods. Engineer is expected to work in team environment to drive improvement in tool capability, to reduce defects, PCM failures, number of held lots and to disposition of held lots in timely manner.
Responsibilities
  • Sustain and improve GaAs photolithography processes
  • Improve GaAs photolithography process to prevent photo issues
  • Implement and improve detection by use of automation and FDC
  • Implement and improve detection by use of automation and SPC
  • Evaluate and implement cost reduction in photo area
  • Review of photo metrology (thickness, CD, overlay), AOI, electrical, SPC and FDC trends
  • Use statistical software to perform data analysis to evaluate and improve processes
  • Reduction of held lots and timely disposition of held lots

Required Experience and Skills
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering field with 5 years of applicable experience (MS + 3 years or PhD also acceptable)
  • In-depth photolithography engineering knowledge and hands-on experience within a cleanroom
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with other teams
  • Be able to quickly troubleshoot and find cause of wafer problems
  • Ability to good exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action needed to resolve lot issues
  • Be able to work in fast paced production environment

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $77,900 - $142,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
