Job Description:

This job is responsible for supporting the development, execution, and continuous improvement of Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) capabilities used to assess business processes, controls, and risk management practices across the Bank. Key responsibilities include developing an understanding of end-to-end business processes, associated risks and controls, and the underlying data that supports testing activities.

The role works closely with business partners, risk managers, and testing teams to support test development, test execution, results analysis, and reporting activities. Job expectations include contributing to all phases of the testing lifecycle through process analysis, data validation, documentation, issue identification, and the communication of testing results and insights. This position provides opportunities to build expertise in risk management, process analysis, testing methodologies, and data analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development, enhancement, execution, and maintenance of testing methodologies, analytical tools, and testing scripts used to evaluate process and control effectiveness
  • Develops an understanding of business processes, associated risks, controls, data sources, and regulatory requirements to support testing activities.
  • Assists with gathering, validating, analyzing, and documenting data required for test development and test execution.
  • Executes testing activities in accordance with established methodologies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Documents testing procedures, observations, results, and supporting evidence in a clear, concise, and repeatable manner.
  • Identifies, documents, and escalates testing exceptions, defects, and process concerns in a timely manner.
  • Performs analysis to identify trends, themes, and potential risk indicators within testing results.
  • Collaborates with teammates and business partners to support continuous improvement, automation, and standardization efforts across the testing lifecycle.
  • Builds knowledge of EIT methodologies, operational risk management practices, and banking processes through training, coaching, and hands-on experience
