TruCheck is a national contract services organization that has delivered high-quality meter service solutions to electric, gas, and water utilities across the country for over 30 years.
What You Will Do: Tru-Check Inc. (a nationwide utility services company) is seeking to fill several entry-level positions in the Denver Metro area. These positions will be reading electric and natural gas meters. Requires driving and walking skills in all types of weather and across all types of terrain. We're looking for safety-minded, energetic, dependable, hardworking, customer friendly people that enjoy working independently and outdoors.
Main Duties: Physically or remotely gathering onsite electric and natural gas meter billing information. Extensive driving throughout the Denver metro area. Meet strict deadlines for completing meter reading routes. No experience necessary, paid training is provided. Ability to walk 5+ miles per day. Work in all types of weather conditions i.e.: rain, sleet, snow, extreme heat. Ability to deal with wildlife and animals is required.
Work Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Provide a VALID, Unexpired Driver's License. H.S. Diploma or GED equivalency required. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening AND background check.
Job Details: Shift: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift (7:00AM to 3:30PM; no overtime or weekends; 40 hours per week)
Physical Requirements: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day; carry up to 20lbs of equipment; be able to effectively communicate with customers in a courteous manner displaying excellent customer service and perform other duties as assigned; Performs all work in a safe manner; Observes and follows all company/client procedures; Possess excellent customer service/communication skills; Be comfortable using computers/technology.
What You Will Earn:
Starting rate of $23.00 per hour. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays after 60 days of employment.
