Do you enjoy being outdoors and staying active throughout the workday? Our client is seeking a Meter Reader to join their team serving shoreline communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who prefer working independently and outdoors rather than sitting at a desk. Using a company vehicle and handheld device, you'll travel assigned routes and collect meter readings throughout the day.
What You'll Do
- Read utility meters using a handheld electronic device
- Drive a company vehicle between assigned routes
- Walk extensively throughout residential and commercial neighborhoods
- Accurately record meter readings and related information
- Work independently while following established routes and schedules
- Interact professionally with customers when needed

What We're Looking For
- Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold
- Ability to walk several miles each day
- Basic computer and handheld device skills
- Effective communication skills
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
Physical Requirements
- Extensive walking throughout the workday
- Ability to work outdoors year-round
- Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, and navigating uneven terrain
- Ability to remain active for up to 6 hours of walking per day
