Primary Purpose
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and resolving customer billing exceptions in a timely and accurate manner. Through retrieval and analysis of customer account information, including meter data available from various system applications, appropriate actions are taken to resolve issues and produce accurate billing. Additional responsibilities include interfacing with various departments to complete special billings requests, manual billing, estimated billing, billing adjustments, revenue projection and billing audits on a monthly basis. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Primary Duties
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Analyze and review meter data including interval data. Estimate meter data, using pre-approved estimating guidelines, in the Meter Data Management system (MDM) using the MDM bulk editing tool when necessary, Update meter data in the various system applications in order to process billing timely and accurately. Work directly with IT to coordinate the updates of meter data to ensure accuracy and sync ups between applications. Resolve all meter data exception work including MDM work queue. (35%)
Process all residential, commercial and industrial billing exceptions timely and accurately on a daily basis through PECO current billing system (CIMS) and Meter Data Management (MDM). Retrieve and analyze customer account information and meter data, available through multiple System Applications. Collect billing determinant information and process for billing. This includes the posting of accurate Account documentation and review bill follow up. (35%)
Interfacing with various departments as billing consultants, working together to expedite and complete customer requests including customer data requests, account set up, rate analysis, HBC's Meter Mix-Ups, re-billings, estimated billing, manual billing, the posting of miscellaneous billing adjustments retroactive billing, billing SOX audits, and account reconciliation. (15%)
Processes installations, transfers of service, and cancellations of service within CIMS for residential, commercial and industrial customers. Performs analysis of customer account information including metering data, meter multipliers, rates, riders, contracts and tax agreements. (10%)
Identifies designs and develops process improvements. Provides management with ideas and input and works independently with various departments to provide and gain knowledge on how to improve and streamline processes and procedures and also works on projects/initiatives when needed. (5%)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of CIMS, MDM, Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Demonstrated analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a high performance, team environment
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
4 Year College degree or equivalent
12 -18 months experience on CIMS System, including account set up, bill processing and service order completion
12-18 months experience in using PECO's Meter Data Management system (MDM); Proficient use of the MDM meter data bulk editing tool and CEDAR.
12-18 month experience with PECO's meter data retrieval applications including DataRaker, Opower, First Fuel and AMOS Advanced Metering Outage System and Sensus RNI.
Proficiency in PECO's reporting tool Qlikview. Experience in working all types of PECO related WFM's including Service Orders and AMI's new MDM Work Q exceptions
