SOSi is seeking a Senior Geospatial Research Analyst / Production Manager to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Lead the production of geospatial intelligence products, ensuring alignment with analytical priorities and stakeholder requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance and metadata tagging of geospatial layers, ensuring compliance with interoperability standards and governance policies.
  • Manage workflow prioritization and production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of geospatial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Coordinate for access to core ArcGIS Enterprise services and for integration of analytic layers and ingestion workflows. The contractor shall also coordinate to ensure any required ARCGIS analyst licenses or toolsets are validated, tracked, and procured in alignment with program-wide license management policies.

  • Coordinate to access and register relevant datasets in the program's data catalog to support traceability, searchability, and metadata compliance.
  • Coordinate to ensure any required ARCGIS analyst licenses or toolsets are validated, tracked, and procured, or alternative process as coordinated through the Government PM and COR, and in alignment with program-wide license management policies.
  • Submit the Geospatial Production & Metadata Compliance Report, summarizing product development cycles and adherence to metadata governance frameworks.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Active TOP SECRET Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, GIS, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a closely related field; or
    • A minimum of five (5) years of experience creating geospatial analytic products in these fields of study or supporting DoD geospatial and all-source analysis and production, including supervising analysis, research, and production.
  • Proposed personnel possess the expertise, knowledge, and capability to both apply and lead geospatial analytics and all-source intelligence methodologies, theories, and frameworks; and AI/ML, data quality, enrichment, and stewardship processes and techniques to research to:
    • Solve and articulate complex geospatial and all-source intelligence analytic problems.
    • Develop and oversee data stewardship techniques best practices.
    • Collaborate with other data providers and analysts to improve access to key data and lead the curation of country and regional pages on program.
    • Leverage the knowledge of peers to better understand analytic trends and initiatives.
    • Working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise systems and data steward tools, catalogs, techniques, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications or training in Esri GIS or related technologies (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS REST API), Python, R, JSON, HTML/XML, SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and All-Source Intelligence analytic methodology are advantageous but not required.
