Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Aerospace Plating Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing aerospace components in accordance with customer and industry specifications while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The selected candidate will be subject to random drug screens, as this a requirement of the FAA guidelines.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process aerospace parts in accordance with provided specifications and work instructions
  • Operate plating equipment and manage multiple plating jobs simultaneously
  • Monitor equipment performance and condition; recommend repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Maintain accurate processing standards and quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
  • Follow all company safety procedures and work safely in a manufacturing environment
  • Lift and handle materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and equipment issues


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, or a minimum of 2+ years of related plating experience
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and fully understand English in accordance with FAA guidelines
  • Must be able to pass initial and random drug screening testing per FAA guidelines
  • Ability to multitask and efficiently manage multiple plating operations at one time
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow written instructions, specifications, and safety procedures
  • Aerospace, metal finishing, or plating experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and chemical processing environment


Work Environment

This position operates in an aerospace manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and FAA compliance standards.
