What We're Looking For

You will develop dashboards, models, and tools to understand product, operational and client performance to influence and inform business strategies with effective data visualization and storytelling. You'll work closely and partner with with Product Managers, Operators and Engineers, proactively identifying opportunities to track critical data, uncover insights and execute the overall analytics roadmap. You'll need to synthesize large datasets, determine where inefficiencies or losses occur, and recommend actionable improvements. This role requires a mix of analytics/BI proficiency, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership to enable data-driven decision-making.

What You Will Do

  • Drive Organizational Strategy & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with Analytics, Data Engineering, and Product leadership to define and execute the Business Intelligence & Analytics strategy aligned to company priorities.

  • Shape organizational direction by framing critical business questions and aligning analytics investments to the highest-impact outcomes.

  • Influence cross-functional roadmaps to ensure analytics needs are represented in platform and product decisions.

  • Establish operating models for prioritization, intake, and delivery that enable effective execution across teams.

  • Set standards for how analytical work informs decision-making, ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization.

  • Scale Analytical Platforms & Practices

  • Own and evolve analytical platforms, data models, and semantic layers that power decision-making across the organization.

  • Develop and scale reusable data assets and frameworks that improve efficiency, consistency, and trust in data.

  • Build & Develop High-Performing Teams

  • Lead and develop multiple analysts and/or managers, building a high-performing organization with strong technical and business acumen.

  • Establish clear expectations for performance, growth, and capability development across teams.

  • Mentor emerging leaders and create pathways for career progression within Business Intelligence & Analytics.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience & Analytical Leadership

  • 9+ years of progressive experience with demonstrated leadership in data, Business Intelligence, or analytics roles.

  • Deep experience leading BI or Analytics functions, with a track record of driving impact across multiple teams or business domains.

  • Experience establishing and scaling analytical standards, including metrics, data models, and BI solutions.

  • Technical & Data Foundations

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python or R, with the ability to guide teams in building scalable analytical solutions.

  • Experience partnering closely with Data Engineering to shape data models, pipelines, and scalable data infrastructure.

  • Familiarity with modern BI tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Power BI) and best practices in dashboard design and usability.

  • Communication & Influence

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.

  • People Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Experience managing managers and/or leading multiple teams, with accountability for both delivery and capability development.

  • Track record of building high-performing teams.

  • Change Leadership & Innovation

  • Experience leading organizational change and driving adoption of new tools, processes, or methodologies.

  • Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve analytical workflows and scalability.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:

$196,000-$220,000 USD
