Position Summary:
  • Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is looking for an experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented High-Volume Bartender to join our team. As a High-Volume Bartender, you will be the face of the bar, creating exceptional drinks and delivering top-notch service in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with your team to ensure seamless service during busy shifts, manage drink orders efficiently, and provide an outstanding guest experience. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about crafting quality beverages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring all orders are accurately prepared and delivered promptly.
  • Manage a high-volume bar environment, ensuring drink orders are made quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, restocking supplies, and cleaning surfaces.
  • Ensure the bar is properly stocked with alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies, and communicate any inventory needs to management.
  • Handle cash, process payments, and keep track of tabs in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines, monitoring guests' alcohol consumption and ensuring compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior bartenders or barbacks, helping them develop their skills and maintaining team morale.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with other bar staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation and an excellent guest experience.
  • Manage bar opening and closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and prepping for the next shift.
  • Resolve any customer issues or complaints in a friendly and efficient manner.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience, with a focus on high-volume or fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, bartending techniques, and various types of alcohol.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform under pressure.
  • Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
  • Must be at least [age requirement] to serve alcohol (if applicable by local law).
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • ServSafe Alcohol certification (or similar responsible alcohol service certification) preferred.

Essential Physical Functions:
