About the role
We are seeking an organized, warm, and driven Hospitality Manager to join the Savory Hospitality team at one of our business dining locations. Our business dining locations are one of our unique service offerings that offer the full Savory team member experience as well as the opportunity to work directly with our onsite client on a daily basis.
Our ideal candidate will anticipate and address the needs of the company and our clientele with a heavy focus on hospitality, service, health and safety standards, and team management.
This role is a key addition to our growing team. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our onsite Hospitality Manager:
  • Direct and oversee on site food and drink production, sales activities, and personnel
  • Place orders both through vendors and internally for daily meals, ingredients & grab and go items
  • Uphold Standards, best practices and coach employees as necessary
  • Make improvements as needed escalating issues to GM when necessary
  • Track Equipment cleaning and maintenance, work with GM to schedule necessary service
  • Embody Savorys core hospitality standards at every turn, externally with our guests and internally with teammates while maintaining a strong sense of professionalism
  • Communicate dynamically, both internally and externally with all levels of both organizations: upper management, associates, clients, and back-of-house culinary team
  • Proven understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation, safety standards, quality control, and inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of menu planning, and vendor relations.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and personalized service.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food handling practices, and compliance (ServSafe Certification preferred).

Your experience should show us the following:
  • At least 3 years of management experience in a hospitality setting (catering, restaurant, hotel)
  • Ability to Multitask, prioritizing and delegating tasks appropriately
  • Proven experience in leading a diverse team and holding team members accountable
  • Strong computer skills, with an emphasis on Excel and Word. Restaurant365 and/or Flex Catering experience is a plus!
  • Excellent professional, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to train, manage, and supervise a diverse team
  • Effective problem-solving and mediation skills
  • NYC Food Handlers Certification, or willingness to obtain one within one month of hire
  • Standing and walking for the majority of daily working hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule daytime Monday Friday and occasionally including nights, weekends, or holidays
