Duties include: food service, mess hall cleaning and sanitizing (bathrooms, pots and pans, mopping, sweeping). Maintain familiarity with the electronic point of sale (POS) system, including cash registers.

Inspect serving and sanitation methods to ensure that finished products meet standards for appearance, quality, and portion size.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Operate cash register and maintain cash control procedures and practices.
  • Plan and organize work of self and others.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
