As a Mobile Road Diesel Technician with Lucky’s Truck and Trailer Sales amp; Dimmick Group Peterbilt, you will be responsible for:
Essential Duties:
  • Diagnose and repair in accordance with factory standards.
  • Communicate with service advisor if additional work is needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Performs repairs off-site or as assigned by Service Manager
  • When applicable and with proper certifications (CDL Iicense) Road tests vehicles
  • Stays current with manufacturer training
  • Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
  • Examines assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – preferred but not required
  • Paccar MX Certification
  • Cummins Engine Certification
  • Heating and Air Conditioning Certification (609 certification)
  • Understanding of Manual Drive Train and Axles
  • Brakes Certification for Medium/Heavy Truck
  • Drive Train Certification for Eaton and Meritor
  • Valid Driver's License
