Description:

Gabrielli Liberty Truck Sales is actively seeking diesel technicians and heavy truck mechanics to join the team at our fast-paced dealership in Swedesboro, NJ. Our service team is responsible for Dealership Quality repairs on Kenworth chassis and electrical systems, Paccar and Cummins engine repair, overhaul and replacement, Eaton, Meritor and Allison transmission repair, overhaul and replacement.


We have openings on both first and second shifts. Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available.


Total Compensation: $45,000– $80,000 including base salary, OT and performance-based bonuses. Final offer will be based on skills, experience, and certifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools for trouble shooting and problem solving
  • Use appropriate tools to disassemble, repair, maintain and service trucks
  • Dispose of oil, antifreeze, and other waste generated by repairs
  • Complete work orders and additional documentation as required
  • Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with company safety policy.


Requirements:
  • Experience with diesel engines and heavy truck repair
  • Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)
  • Own set of tools
  • Availability for a work week that may include Saturdays

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 100lbs consistently.
  • Must be able to step up onto and climb into trucks
  • Must be able to climb a ladder with weight up to 25lbs
  • Must be able to get in out from under trucks using a creeper (including lifting as much as 75lbs while lying on your back)
