Position:Merge Operator
Schedule:Monday - Thursday 6:00pm-4:30am
Pay Rate:$21.00 / Hour
We are seeking the following for current and future openings:Merge Operator

General Summary:

Coordinates the flow of the freight throughout the building in order to deliver freight to the Shipping dock for shipment to the Stores in a safe and timely manner.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitors and adjusts the merge system in order to keep freight flowing consistently. Releases batches, properly, to the Shipping dock in accordance with work schedules. Pulls the incorrect freight off the system in order to maintain batch integrity. Operates the merge system, efficiently, in order to maintain a consistent workflow between modules and Shipping. Communicates effectively with coworkers in order to fix/clear jams and maintain consistent flow. Identifies that cases are properly labeled and sent to the correct Shipping lane. Adheres to work schedules by monitoring all Shipping lanes and modules. Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety. Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Bulk department. Follows all Company policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned.
