The Role
Helly Hansen is looking for an analytical professional with a passion for the outdoors to join our merchandise planning team. This person will work to develop an inventory management strategy, allocate initial seasonal product, and report on inventory and sales metrics to cross-functional partners. This position reports to the Manager, NA DTC Merchandise Planning and will be based in Denver, CO.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide data-driven decisions for inventory management across DTC channels and product lines for the region, including Helly Hansen and HH Workwear.
  • Co-create and define product and inventory strategy for retail channels to improve marketplace performance, incorporating distribution of both stores and e-commerce.
  • Deliver seasonal inventory analysis and communicate insights to optimize future seasons.
  • Analyze sales and inventory data daily to determine wins and opportunities, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations for the business.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to understand shipment delivery times and any changes to intended product flow.
  • Recommend and execute product transfers between channels throughout the season.
  • Ensure day-to-day actions ladder up to merchandise planning team & organizational goals.
  • Communicate cross functionally to achieve alignment between business channels, marketing, site merchandising and operations.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, process-orientation, and data-driven decision making.

Organizational Structure
  • Reports to Manager, NA DTC Merchandise Planning
  • Location: Denver, CO (hybrid, in-office ~3 days per week)
