Pen Mart is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager in planning, direction and controlling the operation of the store. You would be responsible for supervising employees in inventory merchandising, losses, and work hours. The Assistant Manager assists, when directed by Store Manager, product ordering, provides support for sale plans to maximize sales potential and ensures the stores compliance with State and Federal law and regulations.

Some job responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Store Manager as directed
  • Hire, train, schedule and manage employees in daily tasks
  • Develop good customer relationships and address customer service needs
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, maintenance and other operational functions
  • Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement
  • Connection between managers, customers and employees
  • Serve as acting Store Manager when Store Manager is away
